Farewell To Favre?

One more set of thoughts on the Favre situation...

I took issue with his flip flopping, but once he sent his papers in, and was reinstated, he became part of the team again.

The way the Packers have handled this is crap. Yes, the prima donna thing is lame and yes, he hurt their draft. But now he's there and their ways of dealing with him are bribery or backup status. They didn't give a crap about his legacy. I'm not sure they even really want to win as much as they want to be in control.

If winning right now is the priority, and he comes back, then he's under center.

I know they want to see what they have with Rogers... and part of me does too. But he's been seriously hurt twice even though he's barely played. He goes down and we have two rookie QBs backing him up.

I hope it doesn't happen, but Brian Brohm and the Packers vs. Brett Favre and the Bucs is just a little scary.
