Overwhelmingly Orange

I stood outside the tunnel at the RCA dome as the Fighting Illini huddled up before it's second round game against Nevada. It was a treat to see this up close... to see the focus in the players' eyes as they prepared to accept their next challenge. And I got chills seconds later as the crowd erupted, signaling their arrival on court. What a great moment... and I was lucky enough to be just a few feet away.

This game was not at a neutral court. I'd say the crowd was at least 75-80% for Illinois, with the next big group being Kentucky which played the second game. Unfortunately there were no Ashley Judd sightings.
